Adobe Photoshop Basics

Introductory Multimedia and Desktop Publishing

It's your first time using Photoshop and you want to see what it can do for your creative projects.

Just the surface features will be covered in this basics class designed to familiarize students with basic Photoshop tools, menus, palettes, and techniques. You will learn how to best use the selection, painting and editing tools to retouch your image. You will also be introduced to how layers and text are added to images.

Bring your questions and get started using the program and learning the best workflows.

Walk away with knowledge of Photoshop tools you can use based on your project needs.

*Note: This class is limited to 15 students due to the number of workstations available.

  • Basic Computer Skills
